Third grade "Girls with Pearls" were treated to a program with Jen Collins on Friday. They learned how pearls are formed, about different types of pearls, and even had the opportunity to take part as mollusks were opened to find a pearl inside. Most importantly, the girls were reminded that just as pearls are unique and valuable gems, so is each and every one of them! They are as precious as pearls!
