The United States Department of Agriculture has NOT extended the meal waivers that were enacted to allow schools to provide delicious, nutritious meals for our students at no charge to families during the pandemic.  As we transition back to full-pay school meals for the 2022-2023 school year, it’s vitally important to us that all eligible students receive the help they need to continue to be well nourished and ready for learning every day. To determine if your students are eligible for free or reduced-price meals, you are required to fill out the application. We encourage you to fill out the online Free and Reduced Priced Meal Application at PaySchools Central which is available at this link: PaySchools or you can click on the links on the left to access our Online Free & Reduced Price Meals Application and more information.

BREAKFAST AND LUNCH MEALS ARE THE ONLY ITEMS A CHILD MAY RECEIVE FOR FREE AND REDUCED.  ANY ALA CARTE ITEMS, SUCH AS MILK, STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE MONEY ON THEIR MEAL ACCOUNT TO PURCHASE ALA CARTE ITEMS.

FREE AND REDUCED-PRICE MEAL APPLICATIONS ARE REQUIRED FOR THE 2022-2023 SCHOOL YEAR.  COMPLETING THE FREE AND REDUCED-PRICE MEAL APPLICATION WILL PREVENT YOUR CHILD FROM LOSING THEIR FREE OR REDUCED-PRICE MEAL STATUS ONCE THE USDA WAIVER HAS EXPIRED.

Applying for Free and Reduced meal benefits may make your student eligible or the following:

  • Free or Reduced School Meals
  • P-EBT Funding
  • Reduced or Waived fees for SAT or ACT
  • Reduced or Waived fees for College applications

Your application affects funding in many areas! Please take the time to complete your application.

  • School Funding
  • Access to Grants
  • Internet and Technology
  • Resources for Classrooms, Teachers, and Children

Visit https://payschoolscentral.com/ to apply!         You will need your child's 9 digit ID number to apply online. You can access your child's 9 digit ID number from Final Forms under student information and in Progress book!

Please click the link below to read the letter.

No Service Next Year

************

At this time, the USDA is asking school food services departments to prepare to return to normal operations for the 2022-2023 school year.

This means that all the flexibilities and free meals we've been able to enjoy for the past 2 years will come to an end. We want to share this news now so that our families have time to prepare and plan for next year.

Here are some of the major changes we will have to make:

**Eligibility-based pricing will return - Free/Reduced/Paid

**Free/Reduced Meal Applications will be required and need approved to receive free or reduced price meals

**Unpaid Meal Charge Policy will be reenacted

**Meal debt could be accrued if nonsufficient funds

More information will be communicated throughout the summer. Make sure to follow our page to stay informed!
