The FFA will be constructing a "Box City" on Friday, Feb.17th. There, students will be living and sleeping in cardboard boxes to raise awareness for homelessness and poverty. The money students raise through pledge sheets will be donated to Loaves and Fishes.
In addition to the FFA, the Caring Helping Sharing Club will be working to raise awareness also. From Jan. 20th through Feb.10th they will be sponsoring a blanket, hat, mitten, and scarf drive at the high school. The competition will be between 7th period classes, with the winning class recieving a pizza party courtesy of CHS Club. ALL DONATIONS MUST BE NEW.
Anyone who would like further information, would like to sponsor Box City, or would like to contribute to the hat and blanket drive, can contact Kelli Pridemore or Belinda Mach at the high school.
