The second grade students finished up Camp Read-A-Lot last week, where they, well, read a lot! They “camped” out in their classrooms with camping chairs, tents, blankets, and books. They enjoyed camp songs, crafts, stories, and snacks. They read in tents, around “fires”, in cozy chairs, on blankets, and even under flashlights and glow sticks in the gym with the lights out! Reading makes us “happy campers”!
