On Thursday, October 12th, from 5:30-7:30, bring your family, some good books, and a blanket or chairs and join us for “Reading Under the Lights” at the Community Field! This event will take place on the field and under the lights at the Carrollton football stadium. The evening will feature:
All students will receive a FREE book! Students can Meet Froggy from the popular Froggy books. We will have games, face painting, opportunities to tour the Bookmobile and a special Guest Reader: Miss Marcia!
Food, drinks, and shaved ice will be available for purchase. We will raffle off themed baskets. Tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00.
*Proceeds that are raised from the raffle baskets and concession stand will benefit the RIF program at our Elementary School. The RIF program allows every child to choose a free book at different times during the school year.
