The State has mandated that 'all schools adopt a policy that prohibits cell phone use by students during the instructional day'. Our Board will adopt a policy in September that aligns with this new law but we will begin following the 'no phones' rule beginning on August 20. It is recommended that students leave their phones at home; however, if that is not possible, they are encouraged to leave their phones in their locker during the school day. Reminder that Kindergarten and Preschool Students have to have a parent or guardian present when getting on and off the bus. If they have an older sibling riding the same bus, they are able to get on and off with them. Per Board Policy, Drivers cannot leave students at a stop unless parent/guardian (or sibling) are present, they will have to be kept on the bus until the end of the route and be picked up at the Bus Garage in that situation.
The 'Back to school Bash' will be tomorrow - Monday, August 11 - from 5:00 until 7:30pm at the Carrollton Schools campus. There will be over 20 vendors providing school supplies; bounce houses; free hot dogs and more! We hope you can attend!! GO WARRIORS!!

We are currently working on bus routes for the upcoming school year. If you have changes to your address or current busing, please let us know as soon as possible. If you have a Buckeye student and have not been in contact, we need to hear from you as soon as possible to be sure they have a seat on the Buckeye bus. Please understand that this year we are starting out with new drivers due to retirements, and several changes are going to occur. In order to make this work, we need know your needs. If your student is not riding the bus, we need to know that as well. Please email charlene.raines@carrolltonschools.org with any information, requests or questions. Thank you.
