Superintendent's Message

Welcome to Carrollton Schools!

I am so excited to begin the new school year as the Superintendent at my Alma Mater! As a 1985 CHS graduate, the son of CHS graduates and the father of CHS graduates, it is fair to say that I bleed Black and White! I will do everything in my power to help our students, parents, community and staff make our district the best in Ohio!

Our students are amazing! Whether in one of our over twenty College Credit Plus classes, instrumental or vocal music, art, agriculture, elementary science, Pre-Kactivities or any number of other classrooms, their hard work and talents are on display each and every day. Likewise, our faculty and staff work tirelessly to help each student reach their full potential and I am so proud of the work that they do on behalf of their students.

However, without the partnership of our parents, student growth will be limited. We value and welcome input from parents and encourage them to actively participate in their child’s education. This collaboration is key to student success!

I also want to thank the entire community for the continued support of our students and our schools. Last year, we awarded $190,750.00 in local scholarships to our graduating seniors! What an incredible way to ‘Pay Forward’ to our students and the future!

It’s certainly an exciting time to be a Warrior! We opened of our new CHS/CMS building in August 2019 and will open our new elementary building in the fall of 2025. Our campus, nestled in the rolling hills of Carroll County, is one of the most beautiful anywhere and is source of pride for all of our stakeholders!

Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions, concerns or ideas. At Carrollton Schools, we are “Preparing Warriors for the Game of Life”!
