Fifth Grade students enjoyed their trip to Varian Orchards on a beautiful Fall day! We learned about planting, harvesting and making apple cider.

Third grade boys are selling pepperoni rollers as part of the Warrior Executives program. We are helping raise money for the CES PTO as part of a community service project, while also helping them raise funds as they support us throughout our program. Orders and money due November 6.

Mrs. Shreve's Kindergarten class learned all about pumpkins! Each student got a chance to pull some seeds and fibrous strands from our pumpkin, which they liked to call "guts".

Quite a display of engineering today, as High School Students did a pumpkin chucking demonstration!

Everyone is looking forward to a beautiful spring show of color! Over 140 bulbs were planted on the bank of the side entrance to the HS/MS. Bulbs were generously donated by Soil and Water.

It was a productive week at CES. Fifth Graders were able to enjoy a potato bar with special guest servers from the school board and administration. These fifth graders planted the potatoes at the Power Center last spring and then returned recently to harvest. First Graders were busy this week. Families were invited to a pep rally. They showed their school spirit by singing the Carrollton Fight Song and First Grade, First Grade. Then teachers shared with families what first grade will look like for their learners this school year. They finished their week by taking a walking field trip to the town square to view the scarecrows and enjoy an ice cream treat from Reminisce.
