Carrollton High School

On Friday, February 20, Carrollton FFA members Logan and Andrew Pridemore placed 3rd out of 13 teams at the District 8 Ag. Power Contest at DRP Equipment in Cadiz, OH. For the contest, the boys had to communicate and work together for 20 minutes on each station to fix 2 customer complaints/ problems on 6 different pieces of agricultural equipment. They were then scored by an industry professional who served as a judge.

To have BOTH teams finish Top 10 in Ohio is an incredible accomplishment. The work, the grit, the heart these athletes poured into this season showed on that mat.

Andrew Pridemore and Gwen Sargeant traveled to Edison High School to compete in the FFA Sub-District Public Speaking Contest.

Both students are advancing to the District Finals at Union Local next Thursday.
