Students who go to Buckeye Career Center will be attending the Supreme Court session tomorrow - Wednesday, April 15th - at Carrollton High School. At the conclusion of the session, there will be a bus to take students to Buckeye. There will be no bus to BCC at 7:00am tomorrow morning.
Tomorrow, Wednesday April 15th, Carrollton Schools will host a traveling session of the Ohio Supreme Court. Sophomore, junior and senior students from CHS - as well as junior and senior students from Minerva, Malvern and Conotton Valley - will get to witness a real case argued before the Supreme Court justices.
Don't be alarmed if you see or hear that there is a large police presence at CHS tomorrow. Numerous officers from Carrollton, Carroll County and the State Highway Patrol will be onsite to help carry out this event.
We are excited for this event for our students and believe it will be a great learning opportunity for them!

On Thursday, March 26th, the Carrollton FFA Ag. Mechanics Skills team of Andrew Pridemore, Logan Pridemore and Grant Thompson placed 9th in the State competition at Ohio State ATI Wooster Campus.
We are very proud of these boys and their hard work in preparing for the contest.

On Friday, Carrollton FFA students traveled to Zanesville to compete in the Southeastern General Livestock Judging CDE. During the contest, students evaluated breeding heifers, market barrows, breeding lambs, breeding does, market gilts, market steers, and market heifers, and also completed a market grid.
Out of 46 schools competing, the Carrollton team placed an impressive 6th overall!

Carrollton High School is proud to announce that senior Kendall Hadden has signed to continue her academic and athletic career at Ashland University. Kendall will compete on the Stunt team, cheer for basketball and football, and also be a member of the dance team. She has earned both athletic and academic scholarships.
“Ashland is getting a powerhouse athlete and an incredible teammate. I couldn’t be more proud of Kendall’s accomplishments this year and her dedication and commitment to our cheer program over the years. It has truly been an honor to be her coach,” said head coach Stacy Barto.
“Kendall has been a tremendous part of our program, bringing energy, determination, and heart to everything she does. She has grown into a strong leader and competitor, and there is no doubt she will continue to do great things at the next level.”

The Carrollton High School Academic Challenge team crushed the Jefferson County regular season with a perfect 7-0 record!
Not to be outdone, the JV team also dominated their league, finishing 4-0!
On Thursday, February 26, the varsity team went on to win the Jefferson County league tournament, defeating East Liverpool in the finals—their second consecutive league tournament championship! 🥳
Next stop: Regional Tournament at Copley High School – Saturday, April 18. Let’s go, Warriors!

On Friday, February 20, Carrollton FFA members Logan and Andrew Pridemore placed 3rd out of 13 teams at the District 8 Ag. Power Contest at DRP Equipment in Cadiz, OH. For the contest, the boys had to communicate and work together for 20 minutes on each station to fix 2 customer complaints/ problems on 6 different pieces of agricultural equipment. They were then scored by an industry professional who served as a judge.
