The CHS Clash of the Classes contests have been competitive so far this school year. In last week's contest the Senior Class won by completing a 300 piece puzzle in 27 minutes.
In this week's contest, the Junior Class won by correctly identifying the most teachers in our staff Guess Who contest.
Tomorrow - Monday, September 16 - is a waiver day at Carrollton and there is no school for students. BCC students do have school and need to be at CHS by 6:55am to catch the bus. All faculty and staff will report as usual. GO WARRIORS!
Congratulations to the 217 students that were recognized at the Academic Hall of Fame Awards this morning at CHS. Making the honor roll each nine weeks is certainly a great accomplishment!
Buckeye Career Center students will have a 'normal' day tomorrow. Same bus in the AM and the same bus home in the PM. Just no elementary students on the PM ride home.
This was a hot week at CES, but we accomplished the goal of having all of our PK and K students get to attend school on their 'first day'. However, we are going to cancel school for PK-5 students tomorrow, Friday, August 30 . Grades 6-12 will report as usual.
Our class of 2025 seniors kicked off the school year by showing us their artistic side!
On Monday, August 19 we will celebrate the start of another school year! We anxiously await the arrival of our students and believe that the 2024-2025 school year will be rewarding and exciting for everyone!

Don't forget: Our District Open House is tommorrow - Friday, August 16 - from 1:30pm - 3:00pm. Students and parents may come tour your buidling, meet your teacher, pick-up your schedule and see old friends! The first day of school is Monday, August 19. GO WARRIORS!
Freshman Orientation is on Tuesday, August 13 at either 9:00am or 6:00pm. Freshmen students and parents will learn important information about starting high school at CHS, and they can pick up their class schedule. If you can't make the meeting, schedules will also be available for pickup during the district open house on Friday, August 16 from 1:30-3:00.

The last summer meal distribution will be tomorrow - Thursday, August 1 - from 8:30am until 1:00pm at CHS. All children aged 18 and younger are eligible for a free five-day meal package. Thanks for allowing us to serve you this summer...GO WARRIORS!

The last day of school is here! We’ve watched as you made new friends, conquered new challenges, and learned more every day. We wish our students, their families and our community a summer of learning, growing, fun, and relaxation!
Shout out to Nate Stoffer, a junior at CHS. He used his fantastic woodworking skills to make a beautiful frame for the Augusta FFA Chapter from 1950. It will hang with honor in the FFA classroom. Great job!

CHS Club students recently participated in a Walkathon for Loaves and Fishes. They collected a grand total of $1360.75 for the local food pantry!

French IV students enjoyed their annual field trip to Cleveland! They visited the Westside Market and Cleveland Museum of Art. For dinner, they ate at the Melting Pot at Legacy Village. What a great day!
