The CHS Clash of the Classes contests have been competitive so far this school year. In last week's contest the Senior Class won by completing a 300 piece puzzle in 27 minutes. In this week's contest, the Junior Class won by correctly identifying the most teachers in our staff Guess Who contest.

Tomorrow - Monday, September 16 - is a waiver day at Carrollton and there is no school for students. BCC students do have school and need to be at CHS by 6:55am to catch the bus. All faculty and staff will report as usual. GO WARRIORS!

This was a hot week at CES, but we accomplished the goal of having all of our PK and K students get to attend school on their 'first day'. However, we are going to cancel school for PK-5 students tomorrow, Friday, August 30 . Grades 6-12 will report as usual.

Freshman Orientation is on Tuesday, August 13 at either 9:00am or 6:00pm. Freshmen students and parents will learn important information about starting high school at CHS, and they can pick up their class schedule. If you can't make the meeting, schedules will also be available for pickup during the district open house on Friday, August 16 from 1:30-3:00.

CHS Club students recently participated in a Walkathon for Loaves and Fishes. They collected a grand total of $1360.75 for the local food pantry! French IV students enjoyed their annual field trip to Cleveland! They visited the Westside Market and Cleveland Museum of Art. For dinner, they ate at the Melting Pot at Legacy Village. What a great day!
