Congratulations to our March Senior Students of the Month: Hillari Baker and Andy Lane!

It’s been another successful Mock Trial season for Carrollton High School’s government classes. Each government class held two mock trials where students were able to choose the role that they wanted to play, whether it be judge, bailiff, juror, prosecuting attorney, defense attorney, or witness. The benefit of doing two Mock Trials is that students were able to switch roles from one trial to the other. This gave them an additional option to find the role that they enjoyed the most while learning more about our court system. Most students had fun with the trials, and some even dressed for their parts. Juniors pictured are MJ Dalesondro, playing the role of Judge, along with Matthew Wayt and Landyn Jackson as attorneys. Both Matthew and Landyn won their cases!

Kaylee Russell has been nominated as Athlete of the week. She needs your votes! Click the link below and vote for Kaylee! Voting concludes Monday, March 11 at noon.
