Thank you for your understanding and continued support of Carrollton Athletics.
Yesterday, Carrollton High School had the privilege of hosting a traveling session of the Supreme Court of Ohio. During these sessions, the Court leaves its courthouse in Columbus to hear real oral arguments in communities across the state, giving students and the public a unique opportunity to experience the judicial process firsthand.
Throughout the session, the justices heard actual cases just as they would in their courtroom. Attorneys presented oral arguments and explained their positions, while the justices asked thoughtful questions to clarify legal issues and challenge those arguments. The proceedings followed the same formal procedures and standards as a typical day at the Court.
To ensure a safe and appropriate learning environment, only the attorneys involved in each case were present to participate in the session. There were no witnesses, juries, or individuals connected to the cases in attendance. This structure allowed students to observe the judicial process in a secure, controlled setting while still experiencing an authentic and educational representation of how the Court operates.
For anyone who would like to see and hear exactly what took place during the sessions, links to all three cases are provided below.

Mrs. Baker’s class has been busy experimenting with their lettuce tower, and the results are both delicious and educational! By incorporating math, science, reading, and writing, these first graders are getting a hands-on learning experience they won’t forget.
From enjoying fresh salad bars to trying muffins (with chard!) and smoothies (with chard!), students are exploring new flavors while boosting their nutrition. Along the way, they are harvesting, tasting, charting, and journaling—bringing learning to life in the most exciting way!
Way to grow, first grade! 🌿✨

Don't be alarmed if you see or hear that there is a large police presence at CHS tomorrow. Numerous officers from Carrollton, Carroll County and the State Highway Patrol will be onsite to help carry out this event.
We are excited for this event for our students and believe it will be a great learning opportunity for them!
