Mark your calendars and come out to see Frozen Jr.!

Our seventh and eighth grade Intro to Agriculture Class recently completed their Boot Jack Project. The process included drawing the plan to scale, using hand tools, and staining. They presented a signed Boot Jack to Mr. Wood. Great job!

We have been notified of a gas leak in the area of State Route 171 north of town. There is a gas odor, but we are confirmed to be safe in the buildings. Thank you and Go Warriors!

Landon and Edgar loved learning about leavening agents and different characteristics of yeast breads! They then made the dough from scratch, topped the pizza and baked it the following day. Looks delicious!

Carrollton FFA is collecting clean plastic caps for the Caring About our Planet program. Our hope is to get a recycled bench made in memory of Dr. John Walters. Caps can be from water bottles, condiment containers, milk jugs, etc. Please see the graphic below for further examples. Caps can be deposited in collection bins by the CHS gym and in the CHS office. Two hundred and fifty pounds of caps are needed, so start saving today and help us honor Doc!

Your Carrollton Traditional AND Game Day Cheer teams are STATE BOUND! Congratulations!

Congratulations to Josh Carman and Ashlee Garner, who were crowned Carrollton High School Winter Homecoming King and Queen! Our students showed lots of spirit at the Pep Rally too!

On Tuesday, our ALA group (Academy for Leadership Abilities), gave back to the staff of Carrollton High School by providing hot chocolate as a THANK YOU. The students worked well and the staff gave high praise!
ALA group meets twice a month with students from Carroll Hills. Academy for Leadership Abilities® is designed to help participants see their value by focusing on strengths, not weaknesses. We add value to other people. Adding value to those around us will make our schools better, our workforce stronger, and our communities connected. Participants are challenged to learn HOW to think, not WHAT to think. ALA sessions can be a life changer for those involved.
