Congratulations to our October Students of the Month!

Tomorrow, October 4 is Walk to School Day. 1st through 5th grade students will be dropped off in various locations around the village and then walk to school with community members and staff. Please be on the lookout for these individuals and help keep everyone safe!

Basketball season is right around the corner! We are looking for any 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th grader (boys and girls) to become a part of the Carrollton Basketball family. If interested, come to our meeting on October 8th to get some free HS player instruction for the players, as well as information on the travel team practice and schedules for the parents! You can decide anytime if you want to play. You may also sign up early on our Google Forms here https://forms.gle/euAMWwgDFgAgZxzF9 Flyers will be sent home the week of Sept 18th at school.
We will also have a Sunday rookie league for grades K-3 on Nov 5th, 12th and 19th that will be FREE. That information will be sent out in October.

It was a productive week at CES.
Fifth Graders were able to enjoy a potato bar with special guest servers from the school board and administration. These fifth graders planted the potatoes at the Power Center last spring and then returned recently to harvest.
First Graders were busy this week. Families were invited to a pep rally. They showed their school spirit by singing the Carrollton Fight Song and First Grade, First Grade. Then teachers shared with families what first grade will look like for their learners this school year. They finished their week by taking a walking field trip to the town square to view the scarecrows and enjoy an ice cream treat from Reminisce.

Come out to the Band Extravaganza this weekend! It's going to be a great event!

You may have received a call that your child is absent from school today. This is a software mistake with our new All-Call Provider. Please disregard the call and
PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE SCHOOL as we are working to resolve the issue. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Many of you have received a hard copy of our district calendar. Please note that there is an incorrect date: March 13, 2024 is listed as a no school waiver day. We do have school on March 13, 2024. It is a regular school day. We apologize for the misprint and any confusion it may have caused.
