Carrollton FFA is collecting clean plastic caps for the Caring About our Planet program. Our hope is to get a recycled bench made in memory of Dr. John Walters. Caps can be from water bottles, condiment containers, milk jugs, etc. Please see the graphic below for further examples. Caps can be deposited in collection bins by the CHS gym and in the CHS office. Two hundred and fifty pounds of caps are needed, so start saving today and help us honor Doc!

On Tuesday, our ALA group (Academy for Leadership Abilities), gave back to the staff of Carrollton High School by providing hot chocolate as a THANK YOU. The students worked well and the staff gave high praise!
ALA group meets twice a month with students from Carroll Hills. Academy for Leadership Abilities® is designed to help participants see their value by focusing on strengths, not weaknesses. We add value to other people. Adding value to those around us will make our schools better, our workforce stronger, and our communities connected. Participants are challenged to learn HOW to think, not WHAT to think. ALA sessions can be a life changer for those involved.
