CMS scheduling information for the 2024-2025 school year will be sent home soon! March 13: current 5th grade parents and students meeting 6 pm-7pm in the PAC at CHS/CMS. A letter will be sent home with students and an all call will be sent out. March 14: 6th grade will receive scheduling materials in History classes March 15: 7th grade will scheduling materials in History classes March 20: 6th grade will complete scheduling in History classes March 21: 7th grade will complete scheduling in History classes

This spring, we are thrilled to announce our participation in Neighborhood Forest's 15th Annual Free Tree Program as part of our Earth Week celebrations from April 22nd to 26th! We are excited to be participating in this wonderful program that teaches youth about the importance of environmental stewardship through the magic and wonder of planting and watching trees grow. Please fill out the following online registration form by March 15th and receive a free tree (6-12 inches in size) during Earth Week (April 22-26). The tree species will be announced in early April. Lady Warriors advance to regional tournament after beating Steubenville 66-46! Congratulations!

Solid performances by both our Traditional and Game Day Cheer teams, earning us 5th and 11th in the STATE! Way to go Warriors!

We have a state champion!!! Kaylee Russell is our Girls Division II State Champ. Congratulations to her and to our girls team, who placed 8th as a team. Go Warriors!

On Friday, students helped count pennies to resell during the day, while teachers had to count pennies students brought in to “stall” their class. Over $1400 was raised for Akron Children's Hospital!

On Wednesday, February 28th, Dr. Terry Frenz came to help prepare the Carrollton Concert Band for the OMEA Large Group Adjudicated event. Dr. Frenz was the Director of Bands at the University of Cincinnati from 1994-2016. He currently directs two jazz ensembles at UC. Before UC, Frenz taught at Barnesville High School, Canton McKinley High School, and 22 years at Marlington High School. Over his 60 years of teaching experience, his groups have won 7 national titles. It was an honor and a privilege to have Dr. Frenz journey to Carrollton from his home in Indiana to work with our Carrollton students.

If you have not already paid your initial $100 deposit or earned at least $100 profit from the fundraiser you may want to reserve your seat as soon as possible. Our boys team had 12 wrestlers qualify for districts! We also had 3 wrestlers win their weight class at Sectionals. Overall the boys team finished 1st at Sectionals! Way to go!
